My passion for construction is rooted in several aspects of my upbringing.
Growing up, we were taught to make our own way and solve problems as needed. If you wanted to spend money, you had to go out and work for it. We (my siblings and I) were also shown many creative ways to “spend time” other than watching TV.
This is how I immersed myself in the working world at a young age (12) and quickly became eager to please.
I have always had a passion for doing things right and looking for new and better ways to solve problems. The reality is that most work in the trades is problem solving. For example, how do you keep concrete in these forms? How do you take that pile of sticks and turn it into a structure? I see every job as a new challenge and strive to find efficient, eco-friendly, non-invasive, and cost-effective solutions to complete the task.
